Business Editor

Worked as Business Editor in two leading English language daily newspapers of Kenya, 'The Nation' and 'The Standard', in Nairobi, from 1977 to 1988 and was Africa Representative for the International Press Institute. He was appointed the first Business Editor in Kenya after starting his career with 'The Nation' as its Education Editor in 1967.
